An unsung hero he'd valiantly fights to keep the city's servers and programs online, visiting different internet gates throughout the citywide mainframe. Only a few people knew of his crusade.

Lucy Corazon's "Starter Unit!" Strong recovery powers that can heal herself and those around her. She also uses a bow & arrow as her main weapon for long distance attacks. She took up the name 'Mountain Girl' as it was the second 'Mountain' starter unit. It is unclear as to why there was two starter units of the same variety?

Wow! It's been twenty years since I first created this little guy after watching the (dreadful) season of "Masked Rider!" My first original character (as about as original in 1996) looked nothing like the "Virtual Paradise" version today, but the core belief that I could create a character that looked like me. A strong, leading Black Canadian who fought for the ones who couldn't fight back is a rarity within my people. My continuous goal is to finally create a series of adventures featuring Mountain Zone (whichever version) and friends to the large masses!

Thanks to all the likes, faves and retweets throughout the month thus far. It's almost over but I'm not stopping yet.

Christian Resso's "Starter Unit!" Created as his PDA, movie library & his only friend/baby sitter while his parents are away filming the next big blockbuster!

Star Starter is a (virus) scanner type starter. He uses "Video Manipulation" to distort his virtual surrounds similar to set's prop & background design which increases his powers based on the move set he will use from his extensive movie library. His "Shinning Star" to rain down thousands of mini exploding stars & his"Star Bright" attack which is a enlarged star that can cut through anything in it's path, especially it's intruder!

Mountain Zone 20th Anniversary 17 - Christian Resso!

Young Johnathan & Martha Resso were the biggest stars in Hollywood during their heyday. Winning many awards and breaking box office records the two realized that they have done everything they could in Tinseltown and wanted to tackle the next staring role in their lives. Raising a family.

Much like his parents, Christian loved acting just as much as his parents and decided to make a name for himself in the acting world, but would get a cruel realization very soon.

Extremely talented at a young age Christian studied at the Stagecoach Theater Arts School at six years old, excelling at dance, singing & of course acting, but when your last name is Resso your success only comes with jealousy and contempt. After graduating (with honors) Christian struggled to find big movie roles, many thinking he's just living off his mega star parents name, clinging to their fame. No matter how had he tried, it seemed that young Christian will never break out as the star he knows he can be.

The heir to the top  electronic defensive company in the world, owner to the most strongest "Starter" protection unit around with an IQ of 160. With all that is placed for him to be the city's newest defender, why isn't he the one the city talks about?

A mathematician at Sauga City University. Simon was treated badly by his colleagues for his nerdish appearance and his love for arithmetic. After he was framed by his colleagues that caused him his job he decided to take revenge against of those who wrong him & the society who let it happen.

Rough illustration of where Gateman took his last battle five years prior. The color strands represent the Wi-Fi signal. The strands have two colors for speed (light) & strength (dark). The richer the color the faster & stronger the Wi-Fi signal!

The standing structures that look like mushrooms are the modems that capture the Wi-Fi signals. Since this is the city's power plant, I though they should look like some form of plant! ^^;

Mountain Zone 20th Anniversary 11 - Professor Henry Tachikawa

Once a colleague of Dr. Julian Anthony, Henry is verse in artificial intelligence in holographic programing creating the different personalities within Julian's Starter program. The two were a perfect team, yet Tachikawa believed that if they sell their works through military benefactors, they would be able to be wealthy beyond their wildest dreams. Julian wasn't interested, wanting to use the "Starters" for culture development using interactive means, but create weapons that will in turn destroy humanity.

Henry decided to go behind Julian's wishes and try to sell their works to the highest bidder, but when he was caught selling to cyber terrorists, Julian turned him in, ending their long standing partnership.

Julian later modified Henry's AI interface to create the first version of the Starter program to much success, while Henry sought revenge over his former friend & colleague. Creating the most dangerous weapon of all.

Mona Rogers is Lucy Corazon's best friend. Just like Ryan & Jason, she's known Lucy since kindergarten and have been inseparable ever since. Knowing of Lucy's status, she makes sure to keep safe from the guys & gals who might take advantage of her kind heart.

Mona's also is big on fashion, creating her own designs which she models herself!

The brilliant mind who created the Virtual Starter Program which creates sprite based systems to help with the day to day tasks that keeps Sauga City functioning. He is the father of Jason Anthony and his brother, as well the man behind the original starter program, Mountain Zone!

Johnathan goes to the same school as Anthony, Ryan & Lucy, but unlike them doesn't come from money. After his father (A tech designer) left home at a young age, John & his Mom lived together and made the most of what they had. John mistakes Jason's seclusion to almost everyone as being stuck up (unaware of what happened) and his a strong resentment to him, which makes it even more awkward when he falls for Lucy Corazon.

Sweet, kind and always willing to lend a helpful hand.Lucy Corazon is the girl-next door type, only that her father is owner of the most popular tech company in the city! Not surprisingly she is quite popular among her classmates with her bright smile and cheerful personality. Even though she is fully aware of who her father is and the wealth her family has, she never let's her social standing change her. Something that Jason respects and admires.

Five years ago, Jason witness the death of his brother.

His brother was the defender of the 'cyber-centric' Sagua City, keeping it safe from virtual threats that may come. After that night, the city lost it's hero, Jason lost his brother.

Five years later. The city grew, prospered and became the biggest hot spot for all things internet based. Sagua City they moved on from the tragedy five years past, but Jason could not! His parents separated shortly after leaving Jason felling alone and guilty.

"I shouldn't have come" the though, "I shouldn't have..."

The memories from that night flashes with each blink. So haunted that Jason stop growing socially, isolating himself form most people. the young child had given up on living it seems or he maybe was afraid of something other than guilt. A memory from the past becoming a threat in the present.

To which Jason must forgive in order to save the future!

Mountain Zone's 20th Anniversary! 01 - Mountain Zone (Virtual Paradise ver.)

This month (August 26) marks the Twentieth anniversary of my first original character, Mountain Zone!

Since the current incarnation of my character that I am working one is Mountain Zone: Virtual Paradise, I figured that I spend the next month posting the different characters and the world they live in, both 'Sagua City' and it's digital world, "Virtutopia!"

So with that said, here is Twenty years for the one that started my love for drawing!
