Chemical King is an interesting character. Once linked to a romance to male Legion member, Invisible Kid according to the Encyclopedia of the DC Universe (Post Zero version). However, the Original (Legion) version was a mutant who can slow down or speed up chemical reactions.

Either way, he was a Legionnaire & that's why he's #22 on the Legion Month long countdown!

Here's a sketch of the Man Whore of the 31st Century, Ultra Man (From Legion of Superheroes)!

I LOVED the Manupal/Shooter version of the Legion (minus 50). I enjoyed everything from the artwork, the costume designs, the dialogue & how it intertwine politics on both sides of the specturm between the Legion and government, as well how the biggest threat to their world was the within the group themselves.

That & I think Saturn Girl is a sexy piece of illustrative ass!

I know I haven't posted any text from the begging of the month's postings. The reason is that I didn't have a strong concrete back story of most of these characters (I do have for some, but it's not fleshed out well enough). I might post some later, but it's been 17 days, so it would seen silly, but it most likely wont stop me. XD;

On April I did sketches of a concept series called "The Hummingbird" which is more or less an idea of a crime fighter out for revenge against his father's killers, who are all dressed up in bird related costumes (Awesome I know). Well the month before I have been toying with the idea and thus made some (rougher) concept designs of such characters to be posted for the month after.

They are thirteen or so concepts I did from March through April (some May ones as well, but that's another entry). I'll be posting one of each throughout the month.
